After the winter holidays are behind us, the Parker Center phones ring with even more patients requesting breast augmentation. Patients are thinking about the warmer months ahead — and women’s New Year’s Resolutions often include improving their breasts, which many report have bothered them for some time.
This month we are featuring three breast augmentation patients, to illustrate how the “ideal” breast size is actually personal to each woman. We enjoy getting to know our patients and customizing their treatment based on their age, prior pregnancies, height, weight, current breast size, asymmetry between the breasts, and personal ideals.

This month’s three featured patients typify how the differences in past history, anatomy, and desires result in a different “ideal” breast size for each woman.
Featured Patient 1
This 33 year old requested breast augmentation – her small breasts had became even smaller following the birth of two children and breast feeding. The patient is 5’1”, 98 lbs and wore an A cup bra. During her Sizing Sessions, the patient selected 325 cc silicone implants. Dr. Parker inserted these into a partial submuscular position through inframammary incisions. The patient recovered quickly afterwards. She is very happy with the improved appearance of her breasts.
Featured Patient 2
This 22 year old nurse, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested breast enlargement. She is 5’4” tall, weighs 123 lbs and wore a B cup bra. Her breasts have always been smaller than she would like. During her Sizing Sessions, the patient selected silicone implants, specifically, a 400 cc implant on the right side and 375 cc implant on the left to not only enlarge her breasts but to help treat their pre existing asymmetry. Dr. Parker inserted these size implants into a partial submuscular position through inframammary incisions. The patient enjoyed a quick, painless recovery. She is thrilled with the size and shape of her breasts.
Featured Patient 3
This 26 year old was referred to Dr. Parker for breast augmentation. Her breasts have always been smaller than she would like, even more so after the birth of her child 4 years ago. She is 5’6”, weighs 125 lbs and wore a B cup bra. During her Sizing Sessions, the patient chose 500 cc silicone implants. Dr. Parker inserted a 475 cc implant in the right breast and 500 cc implant in the left through inframammary incisions into a partial submuscular pocket. This provided the breast enlargement the patient was seeking as well as improving upon the pre existing asymmetry of her breasts. The patient reported virtually no postoperative pain and enjoyed a smooth recovery. She loves her new breasts.
