Liposuction Before & After Case 557

This 43 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient. She requested improvement in the appearance of her abdomen, hips and back. The patient said all was well until she had a baby 2 years ago. She has not been able to regain her pre-pregnancy figure. She is 5′ tall and weighs 140 pounds. During her initial consultation with Dr. Parker, the patient was adamant in saying she did not want a tummy tuck and insisted on liposuction. Dr. Parker told the patient she would get a suboptimal result with VASER liposuction of the abdomen alone and should carefully think things over. She returned to Dr. Parker one year later saying she had done a lot of research and given the matter a lot of thought. She was now ready to proceed with a tummy tuck and VASER liposuction of her hips and back. Subsequently, Dr. Parker performed a lipoabdominoplasty and VASER liposuction of her hips and thighs, removing 900 cc of fat from each hip and 325 cc from each side of the back. The patient’s recovery was reasonably quick, given all the work she had done. Over the next several months, her dress size went from 10 to 4. She is thrilled with the contour of her abdomen, hips and back and has received many compliments from friends, family and co-workers.
