Tummy Tuck Before & After Case 1472

This 50 year old patient asked Dr. Parker to give her fuller, uplifted breasts and remove the loose skin from her abdomen. She said she has lost over 100 pounds through diet and exercise over 2 years and has maintained that over the past year; the patient has also had twins. During her Sizing and Shaping Sessions, the patient selected 400 cc silicone implants. Given the relatively large size of the implants, Dr. Parker recommended use of an absorbable mesh to support the inframammary fold. He also discussed a “lollipop lift” (also known as a vertical mastopexy) to tighten her loose breast skin and his version of a lipoabdominoplasty, also known as a Parker Tummy Tuck. The patient subsequently underwent these procedures. Dr. Parker inserted the 400 cc silicone implants into dual plane pockets, sutured the mesh along the inframammary fold and performed vertical mastopexies to lift the breasts into a more youthful position. He also performed the Parker Tummy Tuck. The patient is extremely happy with the restoration of the much more youthful contour of her breasts and abdomen.
