Tummy Tuck Before & After Case 1539

This 58 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, is s/p 4 pregnancies with weight gain to 215 pounds, then lost to 155 (height 5 feet, BMI 30) which she has maintained causing changes in the appearance of her abdomen. She works out daily and asked to have her abdomen flatter. During the patient’s consultation, Dr. Parker explained that he could reduce the patient’s subcutaneous fat during surgery, but her intra- abdominal fat can only be reduced by weight loss. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed his version of a lipoabdominoplasty, otherwise known as a Parker Tummy Tuck. The patient said her recovery was much easier than expected. She has subsequently lost 21 pounds following her procedure one year ago and her dress size has gone from 10 to 6.
