Breast Asymmetry Before & After Case 1404
Before & After
Case Details
This 47 year old was referred to Dr. Parker requesting her asymmetric breasts be made more symmetric, fuller and lifted. She had gained, then lost 30 pounds of weight but says that is now stable. The patient is 5’9” tall and weighs 158 pounds. During her consultation, Dr. Parker explained that he would remove some breast tissue from the larger right breast, then insert differential implants in the breasts and perform a modified “lollipop” lift, also known as a circumvertical mastopexy. The patient agreed with this plan and the surgery was performed several weeks later. At surgery, Dr. Parker excised 50 grams of breast tissue from the right breast, inserted a 200 cc silicone implant in it and a 300 cc silicone implant in the smaller left breast. He then lifted both as planned. The patient was delighted with the relative ease of her recovery and is very pleased with the much-improved appearance and very soft feel of her breasts.
