Breast Asymmetry Before & After Case 1536
Before & After
Case Details
This 37 year old is status post a moderate profile saline implant breast augmentation 13 years ago for asymmetric breasts—she had a 375 cc implant inserted in a dual plane location through inframammary incisions in her right side, 300 cc in her larger left breast. She asked Dr. Parker to exchange her current implants for 500 cc high profile silicone gel implants and agreed to have him lift left nipple areola complex into a more symmetric location with the right side. She had not wanted that done previously. At surgery, Dr. Parker used the patient’s well-healed inframammary scars to remove her existing implants, expand the pockets appropriately and insert the larger implants. He then performed a peri-areolar mastopexy on her left breast. The patient recovered quickly afterwards and is very happy with the appearance of her larger, more symmetric breasts.
