Breast Asymmetry Before & After Case 488
Before & After
Case Details
This 43 year old existing patient of Dr. Parker’s returned requesting breast augmentation. She said that after breastfeeding 2 children her breasts lost volume and sagged. She would like to have them made fuller again. The patient is 5′ 2″ tall, and came in weighing 121 pounds, wearing a 34 B cup. She wanted to be a C/D cup. During the patient’s consultation, Dr. Parker pointed out the pre-existing asymmetry of her breasts including the discrepancy between the height of the nipple-areolar complexes. They discussed breast augmentation along with a peri-areolar mastopexy, or lift, on the right side to improve her symmetry. During her Sizing and Shaping sessions, she selected silicone implants, 325 cc for the larger right breast and 400 cc for the smaller left breast. At surgery, Dr. Parker inserted these implants into a dual-plane location through peri-areolar incisions. He performed a peri-areolar breast lift on the right side. The patient was delighted with her quick recovery afterwards. She loves her fuller, more youthful, and symmetrical breasts.
