Breast Asymmetry Before & After Case 508

This 21-year old African American patient sought breast reduction surgery. She was a double D cup and wanted to be a C cup. The patient is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 214 pounds. She had a longstanding history of back pain and was unable to work at the gym due to this, as well as the uncomfortable feeling from her heavy breasts. Dr. Parker performed a central pedicle breast reduction, removing 550 g from the right breast and 680 g from the larger left breast. Postoperatively, the patient healed well and was very happy with the improved size and appearance of her breasts. She noticed that her back pain was gone on the night of surgery and has remained gone. The patient is able to work out so much more easily and reports her clothes fit so much better allowing her to wear clothes she did not wear before.
