Breast Implant Removal Before & After Case 1196

This 48 year old had silicone implants inserted into a partial submuscular location using peri areolar incisions 13 years earlier by a plastic surgeon in Columbia, South America. A recent MRI diagnosed a rupture of the right implant. The patient was adamant about having both implants removed, requested an areolar reduction and a small lift as well. She complained of shoulder pain but thinks this may be related to her extensive physical activity using her shoulders. The patient is 5’1” tall and weighs 143 pounds. Using the patient’s healed peri areola scars, Dr. Parker removed her 385 cc form stable PIP implants, the right one ruptured. In addition, Dr. Parker removed the surrounding capsules, then reduced the size of the areolas. The patient said Dr. Parker did a great job--she was pleased with her rapid recovery after surgery as well as her results.
