Breast Implant Removal Before & After Case 1370

This 42 year-old, referred by an existing patient, requested Dr. Parker to remove her 400 cc silicone implants inserted several years ago and perform a “lollipop lift”. The patient had begun experiencing a variety of medical symptoms prompting her to think she had developed Breast Implant Illnness. Though her medical markers were all negative, she and her other treating doctors thought this would be the wisest course of action. At surgery, Dr. Parker removed, or “explanted”, her implants and the normal-appearing surrounding capsules. He then performed a vertical mastopexy, otherwise known as a “lollipop lift”. The patient was pleased with the relative ease of her painless and quick recovery. She is very happy with the appearance of her breasts as well as her decision to remove her implants.When seen in the office by Dr. Parker one year after surgery, the patient reports a mixed picture whereby some of her medical issues have improved whereas others have not.
