Breast Implant Removal Before & After Case 1456

This 37-year-old patient had silicone implants inserted by another plastic surgeon elsewhere several years earlier. She developed capsular contracture which was treated by them with capsulectomies and insertion of new implants. Not long after, her capsular contracture recurred. She came to Dr. Parker requesting removal of the implants along with reducing the size of her areolas and lifting them. The patient is 5’4” tall and weighs 155 pounds. Dr. Parker removed or “explanted” the implants and the surrounding capsules using the patient’s prior periareolar incisions. He reduced the size of the areolas and lifted her breasts with a peri areolar mastopexy. The patient said she recovered quickly and with very little pain from the procedure. She is very happy to have her implants removed and appreciates the good job Dr. Parker did.
