Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 1199

This 41 year old patient had breast augmentation 7 years ago with 425 cc silicone implants placed in a partial submuscular location using peri areolar incisions by Dr. Parker. Over the past 1 ½ year, she noted her right breast to become firmer and rise up higher on her chest wall. She and Dr. Parker discussed treatment options and agreed on the following plan which was implemented several weeks later: at surgery, Dr. Parker performed an anterior capsulectomy and removed her existing implant. He then fortified the lower pole of the breast with Galaflex absorbable mesh and re-inserted the 425 cc silicone implant. The patient was pleased again with the ease of her recovery. One year later, both breasts are soft, symmetric, look and feel natural.
