Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 1204

This 46 year old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient requesting removal of her 280 cc saline breast implants. These had been inserted by another plastic surgeon into a partial submuscular location through inframammary incisions 11 years ago. The patient said she never really wanted the implants and wants them out now. After examining the patient, Dr. Parker recommended deflation of the implants under local anesthesia to confirm that the patient really did want the implants removed. After saline implant deflation was performed, the patient lived with her breasts for a few weeks and decided to have the same size silicone implants inserted. She thanked Dr. Parker for the opportunity to be able to clearly “think things through”. At surgery, Dr. Parker removed the patient’s saline implants using her inframammary scars. He then modified the implant pockets to make them more equal and inserted 275 cc Moderate Profile Plus silicone gel implants. The patient was pleased with how easy her recovery was afterwards. She is very happy with the improved look and feel of her new implants as well as the improved symmetry of her breasts.
