Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 1550

This 59 year old requested removal of her saline implants and replacement with smaller silicone implants along with a lift. She had peri areolar mastopexies and saline implants (size unknown to the patient) inserted in dual plane locations 26 years ago elsewhere. During the patient’s consultation with Dr. Parker, he recommended her saline implants be deflated before surgery, then a Sizing and Shaping Session performed to precisely confirm the patient’s desired implant size. The patient agreed and during her Session, Dr. Parker removed 350 cc of saline from each implant. During her Sizing and Shaping Session, the patient selected 200 cc silicone implants. At surgery, Dr. Parker removed her deflated saline implants, reduced the size of the dual plane pocket and inserted 200 cc silicone implants. He then performed a “lollipop lift”, otherwise known as a vertical mastopexy. The patient was delighted with the ease and speed of her recovery. She loves the smaller size of her breasts as well as their shape and inconspicuous scarring.
