Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 595

This 21 year old patient requested that Dr. Parker improve upon the asymmetry of her breasts following prior breast augmentation by another plastic surgeon. She said shortly after her procedure the left implant moved downward and to the outside of the breast. During her consultation with Dr. Parker, he explained the patient had a "double bubble" deformity of her breast as well as what he could do to fix it. At surgery, using the patient’s healed inframammary incision on the left side, Dr. Parker reconstructed the inframammary fold on that side with sutures ("suture capsulorraphy") as well as inserting an absorbable mesh as an internal bra to support this repair. The patient reported her recovery was quick and easy. She is very pleased with the markedly improved symmetry of her breasts.
