Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 905

This 45 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by an existing patient. She asked him to improve her breasts after she had undergone partial submuscular 300 cc silicone breast augmentation 2 years earlier by another plastic surgeon through inframammary incisions. The patient subsequently developed capsular contracture in both breasts. The patient is 5’3″ tall and weighs 125 pounds. Dr Parker explained that since she had developed capsular contracture in both breasts, she was at high risk for recurrent capsular contracture with capsulectomy and implant replacement. He further explained her best outcome would be to perform a capsulectomy, insert a new implant as well as acellular dermal matrix (ADM). Dr Parker subsequently performed this procedure, removing both implants, inserting 300 cc silicone implants, as well as the ADM into both breasts. The patient was pleased with her quick recovery. She is very happy with the appearance and feel of her natural looking, soft breasts.
