Eyelid Lift Before & After Case 1389

This 65 year old requested an upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty to improve the aged appearance she was seeing around her eyes. The patient is very active, playing tennis at a high level, and wants to look as young as she feels. Dr. Parker performed an upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty. At surgery, he excised the excess skin from her upper eyelids. To treat her lower eyelids, Dr. Parker removed the herniated fat using a transconjunctival incision, tightened the lower eyelid with a lateral canthopexy, excised a conservative amount of skin, and rejuvenated the remaining lower eyelid skin with a 30% TCA peel. The patient's postop course was smooth. She is very happy with the natural-looking and rejuvenated appearance of her eyelids. She has received many favorable comments.
