Eyelid Lift Before & After Case 1426

This 61 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested improvement in the progressive puffiness of her lower eyelids. She had Lasik surgery 15 years ago but denied any dry eye symptoms. At surgery, Dr. Parker removed the patient’s herniated fat from all 3 compartments in both lower eyelids using a transconjunctival approach, transferred a small amount of fat to soften her nasojugal grooves, performed a lateral canthopexy to support the lids during the healing process and excised an appropriate amount of excess lower eyelid skin. The patient was thrilled with the speed of her recovery as well as her markedly improved lower eyelids.
