Facelift Before & After Case 1

This 47 year old had chosen to have a lower lid blepharoplasty with Dr. Parker 8 years earlier and was very happy with her results. She recently returned to him asking if he could also help her treat laxity she was seeing in her mid and lower face. The patient felt her face was dropping and that her jowls had become more prominent. Dr. Parker discussed options with the patient, then subsequently performed a mini short scar SMAS facelift including conservative fat injections to the face as well as a medial and lateral platysmaplasty necklift. The patient sailed through her procedure and recovery very well. She is extremely happy with the natural but more youthful look she has obtained. Looking in the mirror, she pointed out how her cheek bones are now fuller and higher, her jowls are gone, and her jawline and neck have cleaner lines. In addition, her skin looks much healthier. Dr. Parker explained he believed this was due to the injections of fat and stem cells which has been shown to improve the health and appearance of the skin.
