Facelift Before & After Case 1177

This 58 year old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by another  Parker Center patient, requesting rejuvenation of her neck after a 20 pound weight loss. The patient was bothered by her neck skin having developed more laxity. After examining the patient, Dr. Parker explained to her that her facial soft tissues were lax in addition to those in her neck. They discussed the options of neck lift alone or in combination with a facelift. The patient opted for the latter. Dr. Parker subsequently performed a SMAS facelift as well as a medial and lateral platysmaplasty necklift. The patient enjoyed a quick recovery after surgery without pain. She is very happy with the improved appearance of both her face and neck. Notice her higher, more youthful cheekbones, the elimination of her jowls, a cleaner jaw line and more contoured neck.
