Facelift Before & After Case 1468

This 63 year old patient requested removal of excess from her upper eyelids as well as improvement in the sagging skin of her face, along her jawline and neck. In addition, the patient asked to have the chin implant she had inserted elsewhere a number of years ago downsized. The patient said it was important for her to look natural and not have an “operated look”; she said that’s why she came to see Dr. Parker. After discussing various options, the patient and Dr. Parker agreed upon a treatment plan which was implemented several weeks later. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, removing the excess skin from both upper eyelids. He performed a biplaner SMAS facelift along with a medial and lateral platysmaplasty necklift. He also downsized the patient’s chin implant from a larger (#3 anatomic silicone implant) to a smaller (#1 anatomic silicone implant). The patient was pleased by the relative ease of her recovery. She is very happy with her refreshed and rejuvenated, yet natural appearance.
