Facelift Before & After Case 22

This 46 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested facial rejuvenation. After losing 50 lbs, she was bothered by lax facial and neck skin, increasingly prominent nasolabial folds and marionette lines. She was also concerned about the tired appearance of her lower eyelids. Dr. Parker performed a facelift on the patient with fat injections. Specifically, he elevated the descended mid and lower facial fat into a more youthful position with sutures and removed fat from the neck along with tightening the lax platysma muscle in the neck. He also conservatively removed loose skin from the face and neck. He injected fat into the lower eyelids to create better blending of the lid cheek junction; the patient had no fat to be removed from her lower lids. Dr Parker also injected fat into the nasolabial folds, pre jowl marionette lines and parasymphyseal areas on either side of the chin. This was done to improve these areas of fat atrophy which occurred as part of the aging process. The patient is very pleased with the results of her facial rejuvenation.

This patient was seen recently in our office 6 1/2 years after her face and neck lift.  She is now 62 yrs old. Her results have held up very well over time and she continues to be very pleased.
