Lip Lift Before & After Case 1290

This 37 year old patient asked Dr. Parker to perform a conservative lip lift in order to show more of her central incisors when she smiled. Prior to beginning the procedure under local anesthesia, Dr. Parker had the patient lift her upper lip into the position she desired allowing him to precisely mark the amount of skin to be removed. Using his surgical marking pen, Dr. Parker drew a “bull horn” excision of skin just beneath the nose. After administering local anesthesia only, he excised the marked skin and carefully closed the incision with multiple layers of sutures. The patient healed quickly afterwards and is pleased with her result.
