Lip Lift Before & After Case 1376

This 60 year old existing patient of Dr. Parker’s asked him to perform a lip lift to help rejuvenate her peri oral area. She said her upper lip has progressively lengthened with age. Dr. Parker had the patient lift her lip to the desired height as she looked in a mirror and measured the precise amount of skin to be removed. He then carefully excised the marked “bull horn” shaped ellipse of skin and subcutaneous tissue under local anesthesia. As Dr. Parker almost always does, this included not only the central lip but also lifted the oral commissures on either side. Multiple layers of carefully inserted sutures were used to make the resultant scar inconspicuous. The patient was delighted with the ease of her recovery, her quick healing and her naturally-rejuvenated upper lip. It make such a difference in the more youthful appearance of her face.
