Neck Contouring Before & After Case 1306

This 57 year old requested improvement in the contour of her neck. She was fine with her face as is and declined chin augmentation. The patient is 5'10" tall, weighs 156 pounds and says her weight has always been stable. Dr. Parker performed a full neck lift whereby he removed fat from beneath the medial platysma muscles, sutured them together (a "medial platysmaplasty"), then tightened the lateral platysma muscles (a "lateral platysmaplasty") and removed excess skin from behind the ears. The patient is very pleased with the improved appearance of her neck and the scars well concealed behind her ears.
