Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1192

This 18 year old asked Dr. Parker to improve the appearance of her nose. The patient said she did not like her dorsal hump, bulbous tip and asymmetric, wide nostrils. Dr. Parker reviewed the details of an open rhinoplasty and what it could accomplish. Subsequently, he performed an open rhinoplasty doing the following: component bony-cartilaginous hump reduction, lateral osteotomies to close the “open roof”, tiplasty to refine her bulbous tip, and alar bases resections to improve the symmetry of her alar bases as well as narrow them. The patient was pleased with the ease of her recovery. She loves the improved appearance of her nose though says most people don’t notice because it looks so natural
