Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1431

This 15 year old requested improvement in the appearance of her nose. She said she would like her hump reduced, tip more refined and lifted with a more aquiline profile. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty: he lowered the patient's dorsal hump with a component bony-cartilaginous reduction, then infractures to appropriately narrow the nasal bones. Next, he reduced the relatively large size of her tip cartilage and inserted shaping stitches to give her the more refined tip she wanted. The patient recovered quickly and easily from her procedure. When last seen in the office several months after surgery, she was beaming and said how much she loves her “new nose”. “It looks just perfect”.
