Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1444

This 21 year old was referred to Dr Parker by another patient with concerns about her nose. She said she has thought about surgery since age 12, explaining that she doesn’t like her profile and the nose is too large for her face. Dr Parker reviewed the details of an open rhinoplasty to reduce the size of her nose and to make it look natural. Several months later, he performed an open rhinoplasty doing the following: component bony-cartilaginous hump reduction, lateral osteotomies to close the “open roof”, tiplasty to refine and set back the tip cartilage with a “medial crural steal” maneuver, and alar bases resections. The patient said her recovery was quick and easy. She is thrilled with the appearance of her nose and loves it.
