Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1445

This 20 year old asked Dr Parker to improve the appearance of her nose. She ws specifically bothered by its crooked appearance, her hump, and bulbous tip which drooped with smiling. After examining the patient, Dr Parker explained what could be achieved with an open rhinoplasty which he then performed several weeks later. At surgery, Dr Parker performed a component bony-cartilaginous hump reduction, lateral osteotomies to close the “open roof” and help straighten her crooked nose, a tiplasty to refine her bulbous tip, and resected her depressor nasi septi muscles to keep the tip from drooping with smiling. The patient said her recovery was easy. The patient was delighted with her quick recovery. She loves the natural appearance of her nose; family and friends have confirmed that as well.
