Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1446

This 37 year old was bothered by the irregular contour of her profile and her bulbous nasal tip. She requested a straighter, aquiline profile and more delicate, refined tip. She showed Dr Parker multiple pictures of noses she liked and said she knew exactly what she wanted. After reviewing the operative plan, including computer imaging of her nose, an open rhinoplasty was performed. During the procedure, Dr Parker performed a component reduction of the patient’s dorsal hump, lateral osteotomies to close the “open roof” and help straighten the nose. He used lateral crural strut grafts to provide the patient with the degree of tip definition she required. From the moment her nasal splint was removed, the patient said she loved the appearance of her nose. She thanked Dr Parker for listening carefully to her concerns and carrying out a surgical plan to address them.
