Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1533

This 57 year old patient requested improvement in the appearance of her nose, chin and eyelids. She asked Dr. Parker to improve the upper portion of her nose, make her nasal tip more refined and alar bases narrowed, her chin stronger as well as her excess upper eyelid skin and puffiness of her lower eyelids improved. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty, during which he did the following: reduced the patient’s profile 2 mm with a component reduction of bone and cartilage, infractures to narrow the nasal bones, a tiplasty to refine the nasal tip as well as alar base resections. He then inserted a #3 extended anatomic chin implant. Lastly, an upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty was performed. He excised the patient’s excess upper eyelid skin. On her lower eyelids, he excised herniated fat from all 3 fat compartments using a transconjunctival incision, excised the excess lower eyelid skin using a subciliary incision, performed a lateral canthopexy and peri-orbital 30% graded TCA peel. The patient was delighted with her rapid recovery after surgery and loves her results.
