Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 198

This 52 year old underwent a closed rhinoplasty 20 years ago with another plastic surgeon and consulted Dr. Parker for corrective surgery. She said she was never happy with the appearance of her nose, being bothered by its crooked appearance, her prominent dorsum, the collapse of her middle vault as well as pinching of her nasal tip and alar. Dr. Parker performed an open secondary rhinoplasty during which he lowered the patient’s dorsum, performed infractures of her nasal bones, inserted spreader grafts to the middle vault and cartilage grafts along the alar rims to correct their pinched appearance and straightened her nose. The patient is very pleased with the natural-looking and improved contours of her nose. She also notes how much better her breathing is than it was before surgery.
