Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 48

This 42 year old asked Dr. Parker to improve the puffiness and tired appearance of his lower eyelids. The said he first noticed this in his early 30’s; several family members have had the same problem. Using incisions only on the inside of the patient’s lower eyelids, Dr. Parker performed a transconjunctival blepharoplasty, removing the herniated lower lid fat from the lids. Because the patient had very good skin tone, Dr. Parker did not have to remove any skin, making this effectively, a "scar less" procedure.  The patient experienced moderate swelling but no bruising or pain. He is extremely pleased with the rejuvenated appearance of his lower lids.
