This 31 year old noted fullness developing in his breasts at puberty and it has persisted until the present time. He is 5’10” and weighs 200 pounds. The patient says he is quite self-conscious about his appearance and requested surgical treatment. Under local anesthesia, Dr Parker removed the excessive breast tissue and fatty tissue using SAFE liposuction through a tiny incision in the patient’s armpit and breast crease. He removed 250 cc of tissue on the left side and 150 cc on the right to even out his pre-existing asymmetry. The patient was pleased with his recovery afterwards—no pain, no bruising and a little bit of swelling. He quickly returned to all activities including exercise.
