Otoplasty Before & After Case 1487

This 24 year old asked Dr Parker to improve the appearance of his prominent ears as well as remove the scar tissue in the concha of his left ear, commonly referred to as a “cauliflower ear”. Under local anesthesia, Dr Parker performed an otoplasty on both ears. He used hidden incisions in the crease behind the ears to shape an antihelical fold on the ears, as well as set the ears back closer to the scalp. He then removed the scar tissue from the left concha, creating a natural appearance to the ears. The patient was pleased with the ease of his recovery and the markedly improved appearance of his ears.
