Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1397

This 23 year old asked Dr. Parker to reduce his nasal dorsal hump, refine his bulbous tip and to prevent it from drooping with smiling as well as a narrow his wide alar bases. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty during which he reduced the over-developed bone and cartilage on the nasal dorsum, performed osteotomies and infractures to close the “open roof”, lifted, reshaped and supported the nasal tip using septal cartilage grafts and narrowed the wide alar bases with alar base resections. The patient enjoyed a rapid recovery. He is very pleased with the improved, yet natural appearance of his nose.
